💡 In Douano, you can automatically ignore bank transactions that are not relevant to your accounting by setting up an allocation rule. You can also edit or delete existing allocation rules here. This can be useful for wages, social security payments, etc., that do not need to be reported in Douano.
⇢ Go to Settings - Invoicing - Bank transaction allocation rules.
Click the green plus icon to add a new rule.
Click on an existing rule to edit or delete it.
General
Name: enter a name for the allocation rule.
Journal: select the journal this rule applies to (e.g. Financial Journal).
Visible in dropdowns: check this to activate the rule.
Criteria
Counterparty name: name of the counterparty (payer or payee).
Counterparty's Bank Account: enter the bank account number of the counterparty.
Reference: optionally specify a reference that may appear in the transaction description.
Amount: optionally specify a recurring amount the rule should use to filter the transaction.
Description of bank transaction: optionally enter a description to help identify the transaction.
💡 If no reference or amount is entered, all bank transactions from this bank account will be ignored.
Assign to
Bank transaction status: this is automatically set to 'Ignore' and cannot be changed.
