How to link MyPonto with Douano

Updated over 5 months ago
  • Via MyPonto, you can import your bank transactions into Douano. This eliminates the need to manually reconcile invoices, as this process will be handled (semi-)automatically within Douano. You only need to create an account and subscribe to MyPonto.

  • This plugin is not installed by default. If you would like to use it, please request it via [email protected], and we will install it for you.

⚠️ If you already have an integration with Exact Online, Twinfield, or Minox but would like to start using MyPonto, please let us know at [email protected].

MyPonto Settings

  • In MyPonto, go to Integrations and click on Add Integration. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Create a custom integration.

  • Name the integration Douano. Under Allowed Scopes, check the first option: Account Information.

  • Enable the toggle for the Bank Account(s) you want to link with Douano.

  • Click Add to proceed.

  • In the next screen, you will receive a Client ID and a Client Secret. Keep this tab open, as you will need these codes to complete the integration in Douano. Open Douano in a second tab.

Douano Settings

Before you can establish the connection with MyPonto, you need to activate the synchronization in Douano.

⇢ Go to Settings - Douano Sync - Connections, click on MyPonto, and check the 'Active' option.

In Douano, enter the Client ID and Client Secret to complete the connection with MyPonto.

⇢ Go to Settings - MyPonto - Connection.

  • Enter the Client ID and Client Secret into the designated fields. Since MyPonto is still open in a second tab, you can quickly copy and paste the IDs into the appropriate fields in Douano.

  • Once done, click on the green cloud icon at the top to import the bank transactions.

  • Douano will initially retrieve the last 100 transactions, which may take around 15 minutes.

  • After that, Douano will automatically import new bank transactions twice a day.
