Repacking - Unpakking

Updated over 2 months ago

💡 An unpacking is used to break down a bundled product into individual components. For example: a beer crate of 24 x 33cl bottles into 24 single bottles.

⇢ Go to Repacking - Unpacking and click the green plus icon.

General Information

  • Customer: by default, this is your own company. If you're performing an unpacking for a specific customer, you can select that customer here.

  • Planned Date: select the date on which you want to perform the unpacking.

  • Stock Location: select the location where the unpacking should take place.

Stock Items

  • Product: select the product you want to unpack.

  • Stock Item: select the lot/batch number of the product to be unpacked.

  • Quantity: enter the quantity you want to unpack.

💡 Click the green menu icon next to the products to view unpacking details.

  • Here, you can assign an expiration date and/or lot/batch number to the products.

  • Use the toggle to indicate that a component from the bundle (e.g., a cardboard box) should not be added to stock.

Remarks on Documents

  • Document Type: select the document type to which you want to add a remark.

  • Remark: enter your remark in this field.

Links to Other Transactions

💡 In this field, you can optionally link this unpacking to another transaction.

  • Request: the transaction this unpacking is waiting on — for example, a filling order that must be completed before unpacking this product.

  • Requested by: the transaction that requires this unpacking — for example, a sales order for a customer who ordered individual units.

💡 You can now Save or Confirm the unpacking.

  • Choose Save if you want the unpacking to remain pending. Use this option if you plan to perform the unpacking at a later time. Want to confirm a step in the unpacking? Follow this 👉 guide.

  • Choose Confirm if you want to immediately execute the unpacking.
