Adding attachments
As announced in the previous October release, in this update we offer the option to add attachments (images, PDF files, etc.) in various locations in Douano. This is possible because we use a new underlying architecture for storing these files.
Currently, you can add attachments to the following data under Relationship Management:
Relations
Actions
Delivery Orders
Quotes
Other Improvements and Updates
In addition to some minor bug fixes, the following features have also been added or improved.
Companies
It is now possible to set a default transport method at the address level. This takes precedence over the default transport method set for a company in a purchase or sales order.
Products
The product wizard has been updated to provide easier access to additional configuration. In the final step, you can now choose to immediately set detailed product costs, purchase prices, sales prices, and inventory planning parameters using a handy checklist.
A column for the Intrastat code has been added to the product overview. This can also be used for sorting in this overview.
Stock
An "Available Stock" column has been added to the stock overview, which also takes blocked and reserved stock into account.
Production
The overview of measurements can now be correctly sorted based on the measurement values.
Invoicing
The option has been added to set a separate email template for credit notes, allowing you to send a different message if the invoice shows a negative amount.
The reference on a sales invoice can now be easily changed without having to modify the order itself. This allows you to choose to keep the original reference or adjust it if necessary.
The automatic sending of reminders and dunning letters now takes into account whether it is an invoice or a credit note. As a result, automatic reminders are no longer sent for credit notes.
Relationship Management
Sales orders can now be digitally signed from the Relationship Management module.
Several adjustments have been made to the PDF version of a delivery order. The item numbers are now displayed, and it is now also clearly indicated that a delivery is due.
An additional filter has been added to the delivery order overview to filter by a specific representative.
Customs
In consultation with Belgian Customs, several improvements have been made to the Belgian version of the stock records for finished products, semi-finished products, and raw materials. The records for finished products and semi-finished products have been merged under the heading "Excise registrations." This makes the Excel export of this data clearer and more readable.
The raw materials record can now be filtered by transaction, making it easy to check which raw materials were used in, for example, a production order.
