💡 Excise duties are due on excise goods leaving the Warehouse/AGP. These products are included in the AC4 declaration (BE) / Excise declaration (NL).
☝️ Belgian customers working with the new AC4 declaration can download the new AC4 declaration in Douano. To do so, go to Settings - Excise - Communication and select 'AC4 2025' in the AC4 declaration format field.

Creating an AC4/Excise Declaration
Period ending on: select the date up to which transactions should be included in the declaration.
💡 All undeclared excise transactions that took place on or before this date will be included in the declaration.
Stock location: select the stock location for the excise transactions to be declared.
💡 A separate declaration must be created for each own stock location under excise suspension.
Type of excise declaration (NL): select whether you want to create a declaration for 'Payable' or 'Recoverable' excise duties.
💡 For Dutch customers, the excise declaration is split into duties to be declared and duties to be recovered:
For payable excise duties, follow your periodic declaration.
Recoverable excise duties are processed quarterly.
AC4/Excise Declaration Details

Period ending on: the date until which all stock movements to be declared are included in this declaration.
Declaration date: the date on which the declaration was submitted.
MRN/Declaration number: the number you receive after completing the declaration in the Customs PLDA system.
💡 Once this number has been entered here, the declaration is considered declared in Douano.
