Customs - Brew declarations (BE)

Updated over 3 months ago

💡 As a Belgian brewery or distillery, you are required to submit a brewing declaration for each product type (beer, gin, whisky, …) to the local Customs office. This document must be submitted no later than the third day before the start of the work in the mash tun.

💡 If you start working with Douano later in the year, it is recommended to set your last brewing declaration and the number of your last brew. Douano will then continue the numbering from there for the next brewing declaration.

Want to configure the numbering of your brewing declarations? Follow this 👉 guide.

⇢ Go to Customs - Brew declarations.

Brew orders to declare

💡 Under the 'Brew orders to declare' tab, you will find all production orders/brewing orders that are ready in Douano and must be declared.

  • Select the production orders you want to declare.

  • Click the green plus icon to create a brewing declaration for these production orders.
