💡 Douano uses two types of charges: Deposit and Excise Duty. These settings cannot be modified.
⇢ Go to Settings - Trade - Charges and click on a charge to open it.
General data
Name: the name of the surcharge.
Active: checked by default.
Use same VAT rate as the product: this is automatically configured by Douano.
VAT rate: this is also automatically set by Douano.
💡 No VAT is charged on deposit. That’s why ‘Use same VAT rate as the product’ is unchecked by default and the VAT rate is set to none.
💡 Excise duty automatically follows the VAT rate of the product, so ‘Use same VAT rate as the product’ is checked by default.
