Settings - Production general

Updated over 4 months ago

💡 Here you can configure several settings that apply to the Production module.

⇢ Go to Settings - Production - General and click on a setting line to open it.

  • Default lot/batch number template: the template you want to use for automatically generating batch or lot numbers for produced beverages. This template will be pre-filled when creating new recipes. You can use the following macros to create a lot/batch number template:

    • {{transaction_number}}: the unique, sequential production order number.

    • {{year}}: the year in 4 digits, e.g., 2021.

    • {{year_short}}: the year in 2 digits, e.g., 21.

    • {{month}}: the month in 2 digits, e.g., 07.

    • {{day}}: the day in 2 digits, e.g., 09.

    • {{day_of_year}}: the day of the year in 3 digits, e.g., 184.

    • {{julian_day}}: number of days since the start of the Julian calendar (for more info: Julian calendar).

💡 Macros can be combined by placing them consecutively, optionally separated by a hyphen.

Example: {{year}}-{{month}}/{{transaction_number}} will generate a lot number like: 2025-01/P1.

  • Standard product for semi-finished products: this is set by default to 'Semi-finished product'.

💡 In Douano, the semi-finished product is used to record inventory during a brewing or production process. In the Inventory Management module, you will see these semi-finished goods appear with an automatically generated lot number. Upon completion of a production process, the semi-finished product is removed from the inventory.
