💡 If you work with transport units in orders and are registered with a GS1 organization (meaning you have a GS1 Company Prefix), you can print logistics labels in Douano.
⇢ Go to Settings – Logistics – Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) and click on an entry to open it.
Extension code: enter the first digit of the SSCC. This digit is used to allow for additional serial numbers within a GS1 Company Prefix.
GS1 company prefix: enter the GS1 company prefix assigned to you by GS1. This prefix typically contains 7 to 10 digits.
Number of printouts per label: set the default number of logistics labels to be printed. In the PDF, each label will be printed on a separate page.
Serial number: Enter the serial number here. This is a unique number within your GS1 Company Prefix and is used to individually identify each logistics unit.
💡 Assume a company has the following values:
Extension code: 3
GS1 company prefix: 5430001732 (10 digits)
Serial number: 00001 (5 digits to ensure total length of 18 digits)
Check digit: 4 (calculated using Modulo 10 algorithm)
The complete SSCC would be: 3 5430001732 00001 4
